Wing Barn N.10th - McAllen

I absolutely loved the wings at this place! They were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and not those small, thin wings—these were substantial, meaty wings. The fries were equally delicious. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great! We will definitely be coming back!

The host was fantastic, but unfortunately, the food was a disappointment. We often order from the Edinburg location, and our meals always arrive fresh. However, at this location, we had to send our food back twice because it was served cold. When the food came back the second time, we took a bite of the chicken, and one of the wings looked rusty. To top it off, we ordered fried potatoes, and they weren't even properly fried! The dough on the second one we tried to open was still raw. The way the food was prepared is concerning, as it could seriously make someone ill. I will not be returning to Wing Barn in McAllen; I hope the Edinburg location maintains its high standards. I attempted to post this review on Facebook, but it wouldn’t allow me. I strongly suggest that someone speak to the chefs about these issues, as the food was not even worth eating.

The restaurant offers a lovely selection of meal options. One standout is the Tongue Twisters sauce, which is simply the best. They've made some updates to the interior post-COVID, including beautifully painted tables that are easier to clean and new chairs. I also appreciate that the handwashing stations are accessible, as it's hard to enjoy wings with forks and knives!

Great place to come with friends and family. The salad pack is delicious and keto friendly. The wings are spectacular. Scare to Amanda and Alexis as they bring a fun and welcoming mood into the furnishings.

We want to Thank the Manager of this location for accommodating our party of 16. He made it possible for us to have our tables set outside so that we could be in an open area. It was a perfect night with perfect staff and great family time. Thank you Aaron to you and your staff for making this happen. The wings were amazing!! Thank you ?
