This place wuz DEFINITELY worth the wait. I really enjoyed the food I'll absolutely be visiting more often. The Jerk sauce is fantastic!

I really enjoyed the Italian beef and the BBQ rib tips upon entering the building the smell of home will greet you. (If you are from Chicago). The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, excellent customer service. I will definitely be returning as a Regular. It's so great to know that I can get great hometown food from a great establishment Satisfied Customer

SouthSide Chicago BBQ is an authentic and Delicious real Pit BBQ establishment. The staff is welcoming and the prices are very reasonable.

I came in right after it opened and maybe before the lunch rush so I didn’t wait long. I ordered the Taste of Chicago, which is a sampler plate. It was plenty of food to share a little and I had some to snack on later. I could probably eat it all myself in one sitting if I wanted.. It was so delicious. This will be my main bbq place from now on. There’s no dining area and you place your order at the window. There are a few benches for you to sit while you wait.

Good first time experience. The lady that took my order was very nice, she even brought my food to the car so I would not have to take my son back out of the car seat. I really appreciated that. The chicken and the sauce was good and I really liked the baked beans. I purchased the jerk chicken for my husband, I think he will enjoy it. I will definitely be back.
