Riverside Chocolate Factory - McHenry

My favorite stop when I visit is this charming restaurant, where they offer fresh specialty chocolates that are hand-dipped right on-site. Their fudge is divine, and you absolutely have to try the chocolate banana fudge—it's a standout flavor! They also have delicious fresh raspberries and strawberries that can be dipped in milk or dark chocolate. The waffle cones are made in-house and dipped, then filled with their scrumptious hand-scooped ice cream—don't miss the kitty kitty bang bang! Additionally, they offer chocolate-dipped bacon and shakes, which are also worth a try.

Any time I pass this store I have to stop in for Chocolate covered Strawberries for my wife. I also love picking up nostalgic candies for my kids to try from my youth. Great selection and I have never been disappointed here.

We love the ice cream and the candy shop! So many old time yummy treats. You can get fudge and speciality chocolates.Waffle cones dipped in milk or dark chocolate. Actually any cone anyway lolFun place for kids to pick out candies.Good place to grab a gift for someone sweet!

This place is amazing! I can't believe it doesn't have all 5 stars.Went in looking to get chocolate covered fruit but left with so much more including ice cream cones, which were amazingly good!Highly recommend!!

The restaurant offers a great selection of homemade chocolates and imported ice cream from Wisconsin. I'm really happy we stopped by for a quick treat. The staff was friendly and helpful.
