Dickey's Barbecue Pit - McKinney

Visited this restaurant and service was amazing, not mentioning the food is EVERYTHING. Very recommend to give them an attempt, trust me that you will thank me later.

I usually don't eat at Dicky's because compared to other BBQ places it's just not good BBQ, but I can usually rely on their smoked sausage. So knowing I wouldn't have any wait I ran to pick up a little, wish I hadn't. This was the A#1 worse sausage I have ever had. Dry, over cooked, tasted like it had been out a few days. I used to say they can do better, now I believe they just need to close up shop.

Was definitely a good dinner.. The young lady running register was very sweet, right along with the gentleman cutting meat.. The 3 meat plate should come with more than 3/4 slice of brisket tho.. Everything else was great!

I remember when Dickey 's was a pretty decent place. They had waitresses and the barbecue was dang good. This is not so anymore. This particular Dickey 's was like fast food, you order what you want and then slide your tray down to the cashier. When I pointed out that my pork platter didn 't have texas toast the cashier asked me if I wanted texas toast. When I said yes , she said I 'll have to make it and it 'll be about 10 minutes . The pork platter was terrible, dried up and burned ribs, macaroni and cheese that was boiling on the outside and cold on the inside, (microwaved). The booth I sat in had rips in seat and I think something was living down in there.Avoid Dickey 's Barbecue on I-75 in Mckinney, Texas.

Also, you won’t get a refund unless you call the corporate office- who doesn’t issue a refund, they tell you they are contacting the store manager of this location ABOUT the refund. For the food you didn’t get. That they didn’t tell you you weren’t going to get. Door dash told you. SMASHING job, folks.
