Ernesto's Fine Mexican Food - McKinney

Food was excellent!! The service person has our drinks orders wrong... twice! And then my sister accused her twice for her dinner on her credit card in error and took all the money. Paloma is a great host, so personal and welcoming, coming to our table to welcome us and chat.

Great Mexican food in McKinney! They are fast to get your food out and they haven't cut corner on the quality of food after Covid like other restaurants. The staff is nice, friendly and accommodating. Great place for lunch or dinner and the prices aren't over priced like some Tex Mex restaurants. I've been eating there for over 4yrs and everything/everyone is always great. Be sure to tip well!

We?ve tried several Mexican restaurants in the Prosper. Frisco, Little Elm, and McKinney areas. Some are very good, others are just okay. But Ernesto?s is GREAT. The Carne Asada and Enchilada combo is fantastic, as well as the queso blanco with brisket. Sweet tea is also on point!

First time here, LOVE it! I'm not a big fan of Mexican food, but Ernesto has changed my mind. We started with some drinks, as my stomach was only right with Vodka, I asked a premium margarita with Vodka base, but not Tequila. Chris made me the best Margarita! He even came to me after feedback, of course I told him how much I liked it! For food: beef afteros super! Offer meat and cheese Bacon wrapped shrimp big! bacon crispy and shrimp perfectly cooked grill tilapia super! Garlic lime sauce is delicious service was also great. Pamela was friendly and attentive. Most importantly, she got our order right and food arrived quickly, and thanks Pamela for the forwarding of my request of drink, which is a prefect Margarita. We're definitely going back. Very recommended. UPDATE: Did you sit there twice after the first review and know what? Everything was GREAT! I can only say that her food is good! All proteins, chicken, steak, shrimp, fish, ALL GOOD! Service: Jonathan, Paloma, Louis, all kind but not in your face kind attention. If you were still there, try it, you will not be disappointed.
