Pollo Regio - McKinney

Usually really good food. This time the beans were soup, the chicken was delicious, but it seemed to have been boiled on a surface that needs to be cleaned. (kinda go gritty).... That means there's a good chance I'll give them another try.

One of the authentic Mexican place, with spicy chicken. Bbq and the free maize chips and the best of their sauces. Everything in all the best places for affordable tacos. Portion sizes are large. A chicken. Can easily be shared with 4 people.

Are you kidding? The food here is so good. I really didn't expect that. I don't know what they're doing with this chicken, but it's amazing. Mexican/Latin flare for dinner here. Served with rice and beans, the coal beans... Beautiful selection of diving sauce for the chicken and many dishes to choose from. The chicken is grilled for perfection. I'm a gluten-free diner and this place checks all cartons. You have to try if you don't already have it.

All their food is very well prepared and really delicious. However, the customer service and food service management of this restaurant is not present and VERY incompetent. On the other day I went and ordered only 1 Regio Platter and waited for 27 MINUTES for my meal. After the first 20 minutes, you asked me what I ordered and I told them the Regio Platter. They left the counter, 2 minutes later came back and asked me AGAIN. Then they asked for my ticket/reception. 5 minutes later I didn't get my meal an apology, no thanks, NOTE. It's ironic as I decided to go inside to prevent the gas thru wasted in the drive just to learn that I get my food faster when I go through the drive thru DID. I can visit another Pollo Regio, but not this particular place.

Went here for lunch and everything was great. We had our food within 5 mins of ordering. Delicious! Loved everything. Yowchi was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. Will be back soon!
