The food produced and served at woodstock coterie is 100% amazing every time! the house has pate made, which has even transformed a pate loather into a lover; so many weep that they will certainly find something to their taste. Friday night pizza is never disappointed, even with live music. the personal smiles always and so obligated, makes for a fabulous total experience. I myself and family and friends are great supporters for woodstock coterie. even my family intergovernmental loves to eat for something, weeping and visiting a wonderful experience. thanks to all involved in woodstock.
We went to the two set course family day. We loved the location and the activities for the kids was amazing. Kids meal portions were huge for children under 7 The big let down was the 1.5hr wait between entree and main. I had made...an early booking as we have young kids we were interested in adding dessert but the wait time put us off and we left as soon as we finished main. Id skip the orange and fennel salad but the tarragon chicken and chat potatoes was yum
Quite possibly the worst service and dining experience in Mclaren Vale we have had in 5 years. The young service staff did an admiral job but were guided by a manger that simply should choose a new vocation. Spilt a full glass of water over...our table and left us to clean it up. Apologised and walked away. Entrees were ok. Dumplings were tasty and plentiful. The fish main was poorly presented and tasted terrible. Inedible. Kids meal presented on a bread and butter plate which clearly ended badly. Pasta dish was ok and pork cutlet was fair. Overall a poor experience. Over priced, poor service and only average food. Wine was nice enough.
Our visit coincided with a family day at the winery, the beautiful gardens were set up for picnic style dining. Family groups were gathered, enjoying the lawn games and face painting provided for the kids. Our table on the veranda was perfect for us to...enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant and garden. We began our visit with some wine tasting at the cellar door where the staff were friendly and informative. After choosing a bottle to accompany our meal we ordered our food which arrived promptly. On this day the menu was set with two courses and choice of sides if you wished for an extra cost. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and could not fault the menu. Thanks to all the staff who contributed to the wonderful afternoon we had at Woodstock. I can’t wait to return!
