Chedi Thai - MCMAHONS POINT

We had an amazing evening at this restaurant. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our daughter in a wheelchair and the Thai food was outstanding. I highly recommend this place for a delicious Thai dining experience.

This restaurant may seem familiar, as it used to be located in Newtown. If so, it was always great. Now, it still is. In addition to serving delicious Thai food, they also operate as a café during the day, catering to a mix of locals, workers, and tourists with tasty breakfast and lunch options. The lunch menu offers a variety of Thai and non-Thai dishes. The Thai dishes are authentically spicy, with the pad see ew and stir fry with rice being particularly delicious. An unexpected standout was the steak baguette, featuring tender slices of medium rare beef, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, horseradish mayo, and yummy fries - similar to a Philly steak sandwich. Super tasty, definitely recommend trying it! For dinner, traditional Thai dishes are cooked perfectly. Overall, a great little gem of a restaurant.

Best chicken sandwich. The chicken and walnut or chicken and corn sandwiches with lime mayo are so **** good. Especially for $10. I have tried to replicate the recipe myself with no luck just have to keep coming here for my fix!

Had breakfast on a public holiday, great service, food was out very quickly! I really enjoyed the whole dining experience.... Would recommend this restaurant , very accommodating and the staff were extremely nice! Wish we were here longer so we could have tried other meals!

Thank You. So very welcoming and accommodating. I was in Sydney for work looking for something healthy. Greg saw me looking at the menu, invited me in and took care of me. Food was delicious, service was attentive but not intrusive – so refreshing!!! Looking forward to heading back to Sydney and perhaps try a breakfast.
