Market Street Cafe Bakery - Mead

Not so fresh... so much of the produce on display is already bad. This has been the case almost every time I stop by. This is the closest store to us so we keep going back, hoping for improvement! We recently bought other products (juice, etc) that were also spoiled! Last time. I'd rather drive the extra 15 minutes to get better quality products.

We absolutely love shopping in the Mead area. They usually have what we want in stock and the store staff are very friendly and helpful. Along with big clean aisles, clearly marked prices, and following safety protocols, makes this store one of our favorites to shop at!!

New lows in service. Clerk Sheila argued with me about the price of the frozen vegetables, she asserting they were 2 for $4, I said no, the sale tag read 10 for $10. Imploring her to scan the item, which she begrudgingly condescended to, ultimately revealed they were in fact 10 for $10. This visibly upset her. I asked the bagger to please put the fresh bread and cookies in a separate paper bag away from the heavy items (three times) with no reply from him. He finally loaded the bakery goods into a separate bag, but then attempted to place a heavy beef roast atop. I stopped him. Throwing the roast, sans bag, into the cart he and Sheila then stomped off without a word; prompting my inquiry, are you off your meds ? My wife turned to me dumbfounded, what do we do now? Eventually a young man came over to complete the transaction. The incident was embarrassing and disturbing, I don 't think we 'll be shopping at Yokes Mead again.

Over priced and EVERY TIME employees are rude!! If you try to get ahold of the store for questions or a special order there will be no response back!!It is worth my time to go down the road to another store!! I would give it minus stars if I could!!

Everyone's so friendly and they have foods that even places like WalMart don't carry.
