Mario's Pizza - Mebane

The pizza was fantastic, featuring a classic New York-style thin and floppy crust. I also tried the chicken parmesan sub, which was delicious—well-chopped and cheesy. If you enjoy a large, floppy pizza, I recommend ordering the extra large size!

The pizza has a thin crust, but it tastes better than Papa John's or Domino's. They offer a special for just $7.49, which includes one slice of pepperoni, a side garden salad, and a drink. I always take a calzone home with me. If you're shopping or just passing through, take the Mebane-Oaks exit. The restaurant was clean during my visit, contrary to another review I saw that mentioned garbage and dirty tables. Maybe I just happened to come on a better day, but everything looked great while I was there.

Great value for the price! The salad was fresh, and the pizza was authentic New York style—definitely not like Domino's. However, the dining room could use more regular cleaning. I would eat here again.

Mario's is the NY-style pizza. Delicious. Now I always command. Call ahead. The mall is too busy to just show up and expect a fast service. Watch the workers. They move as fast as possible.

Have been going here since it opened.. love there single slice pizza (huge!l)!! Always fresh and they have no problem cooking it the way you like, mine is extra crispy yuuuuumm.. one downfall is I have recently moved back after 2 years of being away and things changed a little.. taste different.. not bad just different.. was there a change of ownership? Still gave 5 stars as the pizza is still awsome, timely and the service has been decently courteous.
