T.j. Rockwell's - Mechanicsburg

We visited over Valentine’s Day weekend, and our server, Ben, was quite memorable. The food was excellent, and the drinks had a nice kick to them. While Ben was attentive, he sometimes came off as a bit too eager. His menu suggestions for us were spot-on. We would definitely return to this restaurant!

The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. It's a great spot for a motorcycle ride! They have an extensive draft selection featuring local breweries, along with fun and flavorful cocktails. There's an outdoor deck available when the weather permits. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were absolutely delicious!

My wife and I visited for the first time after spending some time at the nursery next door. The bartender was very friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty, and I appreciated that there were side options besides just french fries. I ordered the fish taco, while my wife had the crab cake sandwich; both meals were delicious and served in generous portions. They also had a nice selection of beers on tap. However, the wine menu was quite limited, only featuring Barefoot Cellars, so a more extensive wine list would be a nice addition. The restaurant has recently changed ownership, so I hope to see some improvements in the future. We will definitely be back!

Overall, it was decent but not remarkable. We waited about 20 minutes to sit outside, which wasn’t too bad. The server was quite good. However, the food didn’t stand out. The burger was enjoyable but not memorable, and the flank steak tacos were pretty bland. We’ll probably return due to the limited choices in the area, but it’s not something we’d rave about.
