I was in town visiting my dying parent and we got dinner from this restaurant to ease the burden on his wife. One half pan of spaghetti and meatballs and one half pan of salad with dressing was $130!!! I didn't place the order, just picked up and paid and I about fainted when I heard the price. This is only about $25 worth of ingredients and $1 for the 2 aluminum pans. No garlic bread or rolls, no dessert, no cutlery or napkins, no side veg, no frills. Unbelievable. Never again!
Food is ok. Just a heads up, apparently the most expensive ingredient of the chicken wings is the sauce because they only put about a tablespoon of sauce on the wings. You might be able to negotiate a substantial discount if you agree to use your own sauce. The wings themselves were quite good, once I sauced them properly at home.
The best spaghetti and meatballs that I've ever had!! We came to run in the Richmond Half Marathon and we're so delighted to find this charming restaurant, a local place with terrific food, great service, and classic, family-owned, comfortable ambiance.
I had two scrumptious meals here while visiting Mechanicsville. The homemade lasagna was the best I've ever had. The steak was great too! The staff was very friendly and attentive especially Ashley. I'll be definitely going back.Food: 5/5
