The menu is varied and complete, offering a wide selection of beverages, foods, and dishes with choices of fish, meats, and various accompaniments. The highlight is the ability to choose your accompaniment with your dish, which is a great feature. The food is delicious and well-presented, with reasonable portion sizes. The only downside is that the service can be a bit slow, but the quality of the dishes makes it easy to overlook.
On a visit to Mechelen for work, I had the pleasure of dining at Cosma Restaurant. If I'm still a little on the reservation about some new concept in the restoration, I was pleasantly surprised or even conquered. Both the reception and the quality of the dishes were impeccable. The perfect service, in 3 languages including French (thank you) Being allergic to peppers, I was able to taste the taccos (the sauce being listed. In aperitif, the Home Gin is to be recommended, as well as the taccos, the Pieuvre.... As for the main dish, if you like meat, a good advice the Tagliata or the intercote, you will not be disappointed, nothing but the delicious fumet of grilled meat when the server brings you your dish, already puts the water to the mouth, cooked meat as requested (great cranberry for me) with surprise dessert If the prices are above the average, make the impasse on other cheaper, less satisfying restaurants and offer you a real gustative pleasure, really not usurped, Bon Appétit
Thousand flavored dishes, ingredients of a perfect freshness, cozy and distinguished setting. The small plus: the staff is welcoming and speaks French. A very nice address on Mechelen. We loved it!
Close to the large-place, the Cosma is established in a former butcher shop re-equipped with care (very cozy while leaving the history of the building). On the map, nice blend of revisited classics and cosmopolitan originalities. The concept? You choose your piece of meat, fish or your vegetarian alternative, before ordering the special accompaniment. Free to you to share them with your guests... (or not) Everything was succulent, but I keep a little weak for sweet potato fries with their honey mayonnaise...
All right, the quality of the food is good, no more!
