The...bad is unfortunately the important thing: eating and service. the half of decent Mexican food is not so difficult to make, but this does not even reach this brand, despite the high cost. my dish of chicken enchiladas was the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten in half a century of eating. I lived in east los angeles and eating was much better. true Mexicans are at least proud of their kitchen. here the tortillas were mischievous and chewing, the huh itself dry and tasteless. the service was not better. imho, Colombian tend to be a nice bundle of people, but I haven't seen anything here in the display. the person who served me seemed to have either her job or me or both really hated. Don't come here. for the money they have much better options.
That could be good, but they are overpriced for Mexican food. they claim they have to import everything from mexico.
The quality of food is good, and teller are plentiful. environment is comfortable. I was in mexiko and shared with locals in various occasions and eating is near some organized, but it could not be considered as authentic Mexican food. I liked eating. I'll be back. at the moment it was my second time.
Well, we should have known. After ordering we read the back of the menu. If our translation was correct, they did warn us that they do not use spice in their food. Wait! I thought this was a Mexican restaurant? When we asked the waitress...if they had salsa picante, she brought us a dish of ... Something not even remotely spicy. But back up a minute; while waiting for our nacho and marguarita snack we noticed the table runner. It was full of hair and food stains. So we rolled it out of our way. Our order arrived and as we were sharing a plate of nachos were surprised that there were no slide plates. Now we understood why the table runner was full of food. The nachos themselves were okay; the chips nice and crisp and they didn 't fall apart. The mixto nacho dip was also good but as we had our hearts set on Mexican, it was just too bland. The marguarita 's themselves were okay but nothing outstanding. We requested our order to go and came back to our hotel. Later that night we slathered the leftovers with hot sauce we had in our back pack and finally had some Mexican nachos.
Good nachos, some of the tacos were not as tasty and good as they could have been. Mainly the tacos al pastor. They forgot to serve one litchie limonade. .it did appear on the bill though. ..which was automatically removed when we point it out....Ok value for money. Nice little terrace. cocktails looked nice. Waiters could be more friendly.
