La Cantine - Medellín

Excelent service, food. Reasonable prices$$$ Trully French service and cousine Would recommend for its excelent service. Reservations recommended, when we arrived it was emperty, but by 8:30pm full.

5 star decor and ambience.I would say the service is a 3-3.5They try to do to much and no one really gets it except the manager/owner who apparently does everything.Tried the Solomito 5 starsThe pork pate sandwich 5 starsThe duck was 1 star dry and non tastyThe seafood rice was 3 stars...Would come back to try other dishes as the rabbit was not available.

We have been there for dinner with my wife while in Medellin. The restaurant is beautifull, the service prefect and the food excellent. I would higly recommend this place.

The place is located in a street full of trees and even though is was a bit sunny, we were very comfortable sitting "outside". The restaurant is very nice and it has a nice atmosphere. The service was very good, they were very attentive. They gave us bread with beets with some kind of sauce and even though I don't like beets, I thought that was tasty. Even though the menu doesn't have lots of options, it was easy to find something to eat. I went with two other people, they had the trout and the pork and said those were very good dishes. I had rice with seafood. OMG what a wonderful dish! The three of us had just one dessert to share, the creme brulee flambe, which I think it has been the best I have eaten so far. It was my mom birthday and they found out when they took the dessert to our table, they said it was their gift to her. Nice gesture!I would definitively go back and I'll recommend it to everyone.

My party and i went to la cantine on a whim and i honestly thought it was a Mexican restaurant (don't tell anyone). glad we went because the food was absolutely delicious. it was one of the best meals we had in Medellin. the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and great decor. The drinks were really good and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. please check this place out, you won't be disappointed.
