Djerba Nova - Medenine

Amazing restaurant. It's for sure one of the best restaurants on Djerba. The staff was friendly and the food was great! The couscous, brik, meat and fish are excellent. The prices are a little higher then in other restaurants, but the quality of the food is just over the top! Thank you for the great food!

Sehr gutes Essen. Nettes Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Chef selbst bemüht sich um die Gäste. Die Speicherkarte ist abwechslungsreich sollte jeder etwas finden. Die Qualität ist hervorragend.

I leave a star because the food was good. But completely spoiled by Imed the owner for having to shift a table to enjoy the view while the restaurant was empty. He screamed us disappointed by wanting to move us by force, a truly horrible person who is the first person we welcomed in Djerba. We don’t even talk about the remarks that he dares to make by this to the other customer really his worth not the coup d’y go it’s a shame for tourism in Djerba. Ah and above all call to book because even if it is Vide it will not hesitate to refuse you access to the restaurant.

I usually don’t write reviews but I felt this was well deserved. If you are a tourist avoid this place at all costs. Especially if you are coming from the US. Worst experience I had in all of Djerba. Very rude staff. Walked in and said a reservation was required. Called to make a reservation and he said no. Refused to speak Arabic even after telling him we don’t speak French or Italian. And heard him speak Arabic. Do not waste your time or money a lot of other great places to eat nearby.
