Abby's Legendary Pizza - Medford

I was disappointed to see that a puppy was allowed inside without any visible service credentials. It seems that anyone can claim their dog is a service animal without providing proof. Additionally, the bartender was petting the dog without washing their hands afterward, which is concerning. Unfortunately, Abby's no longer feels like the respectful pizza parlor we used to love.

This restaurant has really declined since my first visit 30 years ago. I’m shocked by how rude and curt some of the staff members are. I won’t be coming back in the future.

If it weren't for the nostalgic memories that come back to me every time I visit this restaurant, I wouldn’t consider going there, as it is quite pricey. The food is good, but definitely on the expensive side. They claim that their large pizza serves 4-6 people, which is misleading unless 4 out of those 6 are young children. Even then, you’d still have to fork out an extra 2-3 dollars for drinks.

The staff was very friendly to us while we were there. The pizza was fine, kinda expensive for what it is. However, not in the best area. There is a back room, which is closed to minors, in which people off the street would walk directly into and come out of ten minutes later. Looked like they were going through withdrawals. Not at all sure what's going on there, but it felt sketchy and not what I expected to find in an Abby's.

I recently placed a large order of five giant pizzas for a party at Abby’s Legendary Pizza, Riverside location. I ordered an hour in advance to ensure everything would be ready on time. However, when I arrived to pick up my order, the pizzas were nowhere to be found. The staff seemed disorganized and unhelpful, and the management was nowhere to be seen. The lack of communication and poor customer service was extremely disappointing. This experience has really tarnished my perception of Abby’s Legendary Pizza. What used to be a reliable and enjoyable place has unfortunately gone downhill. I won’t be returning to the Riverside location again and would advise others to reconsider if they’re planning on ordering from there.
