That roll was giant, and I mean huge. So huge, in fact, that I couldn't effectively use chop sticks to eat it. And it was very fresh and delicious. Needless to say I didnt need to order anything else! This will be one of my regular spots to dine at in the future and if you're looking for a great sushi restaurant at decent prices, I recommend you come here as well
One of Medford's secret treasures. This tiny, one man shop is the best sushi to be found in Medford: each roll is stuffed with fish, and artfully prepared. Seriously, the rolls are HUGE. The restaurant is a little off the main roads, and it doesn't spend much on facing; all of it's value is in its excellent sushi! Worth finding, worth frequenting.
I have never written a review before, but this is simply the best sushi my wife and I have ever enjoyed. Yong is a kind gentleman with a great culinary talent that must be experienced. His korean dishes come from a rich heritage, and sushi rolls from heaven. My main concern about writing this review is that if word ever gets out about this delightfully hideaway we might loose access one of Medford best kept secrets. But Yong works hard at his craft and deserves all the best.
Young is a great sushi artist. He makes very large, delicious rolls. He is Korean and can understand English very well but has a strong accent himself, making it difficult to understand his English. He is very appreciative of his customers. He also works alone, 6 days a week, while the rest of his family lives in Roseburg, where the original Ami Sushi restaurant opened. Give him a chance and you will get all of your money's worth! Incredible food. Yum!!!
Huge rolls for a good price I'll definitely be back!
