Parkside Cafe - Medford

The food just tasted mostly of oil. Very greasy, not pleasant, felt a bit sick afterwards. The fruit cup looked like the fruit was cut the previous week. Bread tasted like the cheapest loaf at the worst grocery store. 'butter ' just tasted like one of those vegetable oil spreads. All the prices had increased from what was advertised online but the quality is rock bottom. The staff were nice, pleasant even, slightly frantic, spilled coffee and put a plate down so fast the waffle nearly fell onto my daughter 's lap. I had to leave a review because I was so surprised by the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I really wanted to like this place but could never go back again.

Pleasantly surprised by Parkside cafe! I’ve been in a few times since moving to the valley 5 years ago. The food and service keep getting better. They are very consistent in freshness and quality. The waitresses are always super nice and sassy. The food comes out quick. Very satisfied.

I was hungry, so I Googled breakfast near me, and Parkside Cafe was the closest, so decided to give it a try. When I walked in, I saw that the majority of the people in the restaurant were retirees. You always know you have found a great place for breakfast when it's filled with retired people. The service was excellent even though the server was by herself, serving 11 tables of people, some with 8 or more customers. Its amazing how efficient some restaurants are with limited staff. I ordered the Rancher, after a very short wait, it was delivered to my table, and it was a great omlette. I chose home fries over hasbrowns and was glad I did. Sour dough toast wasn't over cooked, or under cooked. The portions were generous and delicious. There was plenty of parking. I will definitely patronize again. Absolutely no disappointments here.

Wow! Lived here my entire life and have never been here. Holy smokes. I love the country home cooked meals and they didn't disappoint! Service was amazing, very relaxed environment. This will be a new favorite!
