The menu was great and had much variety...we ordered the chicken taquitos which were absolutely delicious. The macho burrito was amazing...the tamales even better but I was underwhelmed with my plate, Pollo a la Crema, sounded good but when it arrived the chicken was so scarce I had to really dig in. The crema was good no problem there, just the amount of chicken in my plate was lacking...bean and rice seem to be streamlined for all Mexican restaurants. The strawberry margarita was super good and it was blended, not everyone does that. Not sure if I'll go back but I was somewhat impressed with this spot, might be worth it to check other food items.
Our server Miriam was quick and friendly. Full size margaritas were delicious, not watered down nonsense. The five dollar one was not as good, I recommend paying an extra 2.50 for a full size, it's totally worth it. They have more flavor, are bigger, and definitely more tequila! We ordered half steak and half chicken two person fajitas, and steak enchiladas, both were delicious! We had left overs for two days with such good portions. I also liked that our meals came with guacamole. We ordered some to start just in case, and then had a bunch! A lot of places I've been to in Medford the meals don't include guac which is strange to me. We went on a quiet Monday evening, they let us choose the booth we wanted, and greeted us like we were regulars even though it was our first time. We absolutely recommend and definitely will be back ????
Visiting from California, we were craving Mexican food so our hosts found this restaurant. Awesome find! The food was fantastic and the service even more so (I never give 5 stars but the service topped it). The prices are VERY reasonable. The special of the day was street tacos. I chose carnitas. Talk about mouthwatering! Lots of meat, onion, and cilantro. Just perfect. The rice was light and fluffy with just the right amount of flavor. The others in the party had combo plates. All were great. My husband said it was the best chile relleno he's ever had. We will go there every time we're in town.
Since moving to Oregon from Southern California , my family and I have struggled to find Authentic Mexican Food. Nothing has filled our craving. But Finally, after one year we found Puerto Vallarta!!!!. It has been more than exceptional, It's amazing!!. First time we ate their we got it to go since we have two little ones, can be chaotic and since then we now dine in. They are very welcoming of Families. Food is Authentic, delicious, Drinks are excellent and even better the kids ate all their food and enjoyed their desert . Customer service is outstanding and Food/Drinks are budget friendly!!! Everyday Kids eat for $5. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a Family friendly, affordable, authentic Mexican Food.
Since moving here we've been searching for our new family favorite place and we found it. I only had time to order takeout but was treated with so much kindness and the food was ready when I needed it. We look forward to returning soon!
