Spoons - Medford

Love to get samples of soup before you make a choice. All dessert choices (cookies, brownies) are gluten-free. But very tasty for everyone. Today the little round Brownie had a surprise Hershey kiss on the ground! We want to go to another restaurant, but that gave more unusual choices. Cold avocado soup (my man LOVED it), nosh of the day (lime watermelon with slaw or garbanzo slaw), butterscotch cinnamon cookies. Just wow. This photo shows verde chili with cheese, sour cream and really fresh tortilla chips.

I'm quite spoiled when it comes to food, thanks to my wife, who is an amazing cook. She prepares delicious meals for me to take to work every day. I don't eat out often, but when I do, I'm looking for the same qualities she offers: fresh, locally-sourced ingredients that are well thought out and skillfully prepared. That's exactly what you get at Spoons. They serve fantastic soups, featuring unique varieties alongside beloved classics. Each day brings a delightful surprise, like hearty baked potatoes, and everything is simply wonderful. Mary's passion for her work is infectious; her excitement is palpable, and she truly excels at what she does. Today, I tried the vegetarian lasagna, and it was surprisingly delicious. Although I'm not vegan, I was brave enough to sample her Alfredo sauce, and it was outstanding. I highly recommend this place—my tastebuds certainly agree!

The best place for lunch! Great variety, rotating menu and always some surprises. You cannot beat customer service and food from scratch. Spoons is a shining jewel in the heart of Downtown Medford!

I absolutely love Friends! I stumbled upon the Central Point location a few years ago, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! Every visit, whether in Central Point or downtown Medford, has been wonderful—from the high-quality ingredients and delicious dishes to the warm and genuine service. You can truly taste the love in every bite. My only regret is not hiring them to cater our wedding. This place is a must-try!

I NEVER KNEW SOUP COULD BE SO GOOD!!!! Today was my first time and I most definitely will be back. Its so fresh, full of flavor from fresh Ingredients and home cooked. The desserts are to die for! If I could give 10 stars I would. I highly recommend it you try this locally owned business.
