Salon du The - MEDLOW BATH

This is just a small bar/restaurant in the city katoomba. we had a drink and some early roll here.

We have visited this restaurant at least 8 times on our travel in the course of the years. supports the place through covid times, as we loved the food and the atmosphere and the intention. Today, that has changed. we have made an online booking for 11:30 o'clock, windows...seating, the restaraunt was empty bar a table, we sat right next to this table, we could also with them we were so close! who enjoyed a loud conversation. all good, they are good in their right, we asked to another table and with an empty restaurant we were told no! we went out and will never return!

Generous portion sizes, great cocktails, and considering that it was a busy long-awaiting, live attentively with a great view.

I snuck in here for a late lunch, and whilst the views were worth the stop, the rest was average at best

Quite good, pub style food, large servings. Staff polite and helpful. Good view. One again, the wine overpriced. Three times the price per bottle... not vintage or high end.
