Always enjoyed the Pumproom, but this visit was a bit disappointing. Extremely small portions for the price, half glasses of Prosecco for £10, would have been nice to have the heating on, very cold indeed.

As usual great food and service. Even made a cocktail that I asked for that was no longer their menu.

I have been before and it was good but this time was poor. The service was ok by a very young waiter that try his best . The food was not great and even after we mentioned that wasnt great nothing was done apart from saying i will pass your feedback to the chefs

Visited with a large mixed aged group (approx.30) and sat on the ground floor on 3 big tables in front of the bar. We had pre ordered mixed roasts placed on the table for us to serve ourselves. The meal quickly went from what I thought was my smallest ever roast dinner to the largest. The food overall was great, the Yorkshire puddings huge and tasty and we were offered extra veg as required. The service was very good, the staff very helpful and accommodating for the needs of a large group. We also had some very young children who were made most welcome. Will definitely return.

Having been told how scrumptious the Sunday lunch was at Copper Rivet . A party of 6 arrived for pre lunch drinks. Having ordered them and having one sip , we were ushered to our table , not the best of starts . I ordered the lamb , which is my favourite meat and for £25 I was expecting a lovely hearty lunch . How wrong could I be ! When the plate of food arrived I had 2 small and I mean small slices of meat , that would have been just enough for my cockerpoo ! I am not expecting a piled high plate of food , but expect that I have adequate amount of food for my Sunday lunch . I was and I’m sure everyone who goes to this restaurant are short changed ! The manager and owners please take a look at your customers requirements as this establishment should NOT be 2 peas and a mouthful of cabbage . Customer experience poor Would I go back ? Only if I hear the restaurant is catering for people who want a nice hearty plate of food and enough to feel worthy of spending £100 per couple inc drinks at lunch time .
