It was so nice to find a hotel/restaurant that offered a whole food, plant-based vegan meal. Thank you! They had stuffed eggplant (aubergine) with rice, veggies, beans and tomato sauce. It was good but it could have been fantastic if they had cooked the aubergine and rice a little longer. Maybe add a few spices. I liked it and it was plenty of food for a very reasonable price. We sat outside across from the lake so the setting was beautiful and the service was quick and professional. I recommend it.

2 vegan appetizers and 2 vegan main dishes clearly highlighted on the menu. We first had the antipasti variation that inspired us. Then I had the filled eggplant that was boring and tasteless. My tip: more garlic, and grill eggplants and vegetables and not cook in the water. My husband put together a dish: he ordered the pasta with bacon instead of the bacon. He was also too tasteless and boring. The soya strips could have had more pep. The service was very friendly. 2 vegan starters and 2 vegan main courses clearly labelled on the menu. My husband put his dish together: he ordered the pasta with bacon with soy instead of strips of bacon. So he found it too tasteless and boring. The soy strips could have used more seasoning. More options available, they also have vegan eggplant filled with vegetables and buckwheat, vegan curry and a very nice antipasta. Service is nice too.

Hotel u restaurant on the water, fantastic view over the lake on the island mainau, inside very objective, clean, wheelchair accessible, friendly and attentive service, good wine u menu, prices in average 15 euro, very good quality. melone with ham 9,90 euro to recommend, at the preisen haette me to the coffee a little hoped for
