La Taverne du Mont d'Arbois - Megève

We are visiting La Taverne on a regular basis the last years. Excellent ambiance (matching the location) on a traditional mountains restaurant with delicious dishes. .. The service, (thanks to the very professional lady in charge this year) is top. It is highly recommended...if you are willing to spend a night with family and/or friends, enjoying a delicious dinner in a relaxed and friendly environment. Tip: dress code is business casual in a mountain style....

We went for dinner at La Taverne and were sorely disappointed. The service was very slow and nothing we asked for came before asking for it or correcting it several times. The Swiss fondue was very thick and not hot enough and even after making...them take it back, it was still bad. Everything else was just mediocre, in fact the best thing we had were the boiled potatoes, no credit to the chef there. All in all, definitely not worth the prices.

Located in a fine alpine style building. Excellent service, excellent food but some dishes ridiculously overpriced. Same for the extensive wine list. Hard to find a decent wine at a reasonable price level. I would receommend this restaurant but be prepared to open your wallet...!

The La Taverne is a wonderfull place, nice atmosphere and amazing food! Staff and attention to details are absolutely perfect and everything is done so you have a great experince. Although the whole staff is amazing, Victoria , Axel and the manager Paul have that...extra mile! We love being there as you should too! Sylvio Bernini

The atmosphere is cozy and buzzing. We dined here on a Monday night mid ski season and it was packed. We were part of a group people) and all the dishes were visually impressive. Service was lovely.
