July 18th 2023. Cerratos has a new owner and is under new management. They messed up our order very first time and gave me attitude on the phone. Then said they shouldn 't even be open yet..so I guess they are saying I 'm Lucky that I get half my order right. Horrible attitude and talk back. We use to go there at least once a week to get food. Not anymore. 0 stars for service. Its not the same. My advice find another sub shop they are terrible . Unfortunately all good things come to an end
Great Deli Sandwiches! Every time I'm near I have to stop by. Highly recommended the Cerrato's Special, I've also had the Meatball..both great choices.
Real Italian. Cerrato's special sub, delicious. The lasagna to die for. Super service super friendly. Good price. We had two lunches, took home 2 dinners, w/cannollis and sodas and walked out for $58 plus tip. And besides our dinners we also took home half of our subs (they were that big) had two more meals. Awesome.
After spending nearly 2 hours getting my eyes checked and ordering new glasses, I was feeling a little peckish. So I opened Yelp and started looking for someplace nearby to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to see there appeared to be a real Italian deli practically next door. So I swung the car over to the lot and walked into Cerrato 's. Right away I could tell that I was in a genuine Italian deli and not just another sandwich shop! Anise biscotti and almond biscotti were the first things I spotted. But once I saw the rolls they bake on-site, I knew exactly what I wanted. Being from Philly, I know what a real fresh-baked sandwich roll should look like. In Philly we use them to make hoagies and of course, cheesesteaks. And after hearing they put pepperoni on their Italian cold cut sandwich, I ordered one with their own roasted red peppers. And I was not disappointed! The meats and cheese were all sliced fresh right in front of me, stuffed down into that roll, and topped with lettuce, tomato, oil, red wine vinegar, and of course those sweet roasted red peppers. One bite and my mouth was back in Philly! The small 8 was cut in two, and I planned on asking them to wrap half for later. But it was SO good I just HAD to eat it all right there! Nice little red checked tables and a genuine Hank 's Cream soda made it a meal fit for a Philly boy. You simply must try this little gem in Melbourne! They sell their own sauce (NOT gravy, he assured me)!
