Francisco's Mexican - Melbourne

I was considering spending $16 on a burrito, and I finally decided to go for it. The food was incredibly fresh; it’s clear that they make everything themselves, including the salsa and guacamole. I will definitely be back for more—it's genuinely good authentic Mexican cuisine!

The chips and salsa are incredible! However, the queso is truly outstanding—like liquid gold, it's the best I've ever had! The enchiladas here are also very tasty, and the chicken dishes are excellent. I've noticed that lunch portions are about the same size as dinner portions, but the prices jump significantly after lunchtime. I’m giving this place 4 stars because the service really needs improvement. It’s quite slow, and the waitstaff rarely checks in to see if you need a beverage refill. On the bright side, the food is top-notch, and the restaurant is very clean. We'll definitely keep coming back, mainly for their lunch specials. I just wish the service could be better.

I’m a regular customer at this restaurant, but I have to say I’m very disappointed after my visit tonight. First of all, the service was lacking. I waited a long time for my food, which I can understand to some extent. However, the final straw for me was when I saw a man wearing a sleeveless shirt take some cheese and put it on my plate—cheese that was meant for me. I own two shops in town, including a restaurant, and such a thing would never happen in my establishment. I suspect this individual might have been the owner! It goes to show that you never know who’s watching.

I was excited to try this place because my wife and I just moved to the area. Unfortunately, it was bad. The Horchata tasted like pure powder and was not authentic. The Tamales looked like they were cut in half and served almost $4 each. The rice and the beans tasted old as they were sitting around for a long time. The salsa was good, but my wife said it had a funny taste. Overall, I am very disappointed because I saw that this place had good reviews.

The cheese dip is FIRE!! Everything was soooo good.
