Long Doggers - Melbourne

This family has been coming to Long Doggers for almost 13 years. We love the staff. They are always helpful and take good care of you. One of my family's favorites was the peel and eat shrimp. It used to be specially priced on Sunday many years ago. That ended! It was fine because we were still able to get it until finding out on our last visit that it was taken off the menu and no longer available. There were several other items on the menu that were taken off as well over the years but this one was like I said a staple for us. I really hope that whoever is in charge of the menu items realizes that there are items customers look forward to and although change can sometimes be good it sometimes is not so good. A continued to be disappointed Family ? P.S. Please bring back the Polka Dog!

Longdoggers is a local restaurant with multiple locations throughout Melbourne, FL. They offer a great selection of vegetarian options, as well as the best teriyaki chicken wings and a fantastic dark local amber beer. I have a funny story about this place: a good friend of mine would always visit Longdoggers whenever she came to town, but I never joined her because I assumed it was just a greasy dive. One day, she convinced me to come along, and I discovered a diverse menu that I really enjoyed. I've been a regular ever since! Don’t miss the BBQ ribs on Thursdays—they're a must-try!

**Cozy and Trendy Lunch and Dinner Venue** I absolutely love Meg O’Malleys, so when I found out that the same management runs Long Doggers, I had to check it out. The experience? Incredible! It's conveniently located right across from the EFSC Melbourne campus, making it a perfect lunch spot for students. Their famous "Longdogs" are fantastic (I highly recommend the MORK), but the real standout for me was the Blueberry Cobbler Cheesecake. It's even more delicious than it looks! I was also treated to 5-star service from Amanda, who took care of my table and made sure my dining experience was fun, tasty, and relaxing. I highly recommend this place!

Service is A+, I had a minor issue about the Mahi I ordered. It’s my favorite meal at Longdoggers. Jeff the Chef visited our table to discuss it and make sure everything was okay. He was friendly, courteous, and genuinely concerned. I’ve had it many times and it was always fresh and delicious. Every meal I’ve had has been really good. The prices, the quality of the food and the friendly servers make it one of my favorite restaurants. Hamburgers, hot dogs and fries are not listed below, but highly recommended.
