The food was excellent, but the restaurant was very crowded. We had to leave and find another place to sit and eat. The service was top-notch and the meal was reasonably priced at A$1-20 per person. I would give the food and service a rating of 5, but the atmosphere was a 3.

I used to love Scoopy's old, atmospheric location. It was my favorite dessert spot in Melbourne. Unfortunately, the new location feels lacking in soul, and the self-serve concept results in a lower standard of desserts. In the past, with the set menu, you knew the cost upfront, but now it's a guessing game. On busy nights, there are not enough seats, so people are left standing around with their bing su, waiting for a table. In the old venue, tables were cleaned after each use, but at the new venue, we were expected to clean our own table. I used to be a regular customer, but now I won't be returning anytime soon.

The restaurant offers fantastic service and a great atmosphere. We dined in for dinner and paid around $20-40 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all received top marks of 5. Highly recommended dish: Honey Dewd.

Desserts at @scoopymilkbar: the queue is long but moves relatively quickly. Finding a spot to sit on a weekend night is a bit tough though. Thankfully the turnover is reasonably fast . The bingsu here is decent, with plenty of choices for toppings, which they put in the middle of your bingsu. Overall it was good, but there are plenty of choices for bingsu here in Melbourne .
