Contribuisci feedbackThe taste, quality, and service at this restaurant are exceptional! Exotic and authentic cheeses are used in the preparation of the dishes. It was busy on a Thursday night, but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and can't wait to become a regular customer. Additionally, it is worth noting that the owner also runs another popular restaurant called Portone Wood-Fired Pizzas in Balaclava.
I used to love ordering from this restaurant, but I'm disappointed that they are not staying open as late as they used to. It's sad because they always fulfilled my midnight pizza cravings.
Recently renewed and surpassed the level of classical, what an ambiente! exquisite selection of paintings and artifacts, the color of the walls everything fits perfectly. there is a warm feeling in the restaurant that makes this place so great. the eating menu is just right, not too small, not too big. a must try is giardino pasta, one of the best I ever had in melbourne, and sticky date pudding, a perfect winter dessert. wein selection is really great. highly recommended!
Amatriciana had a delicious sauce, but the bacon was uncooked and squeaked when I ate it and felt gross. They also clearly freeze their bacon together, thaw it out and don't cut them up individually as every bit of bacon had 4 slices that I could peel apart. Just lazy. Just like how the bacon wasn't cooked at all but instead just thrown into the sauce to simmer which is not how it is done (assuming, I have done this before and it yields the same plastic gross result). Lazy cooking. It's hard to give anything more than 1 star for a bacon centric dish with the aforementioned approach to cooking.
Really disappointed in the pizzas. Ordered a few times from AJ717 but tonight the pizzas were tasteless and the meat quality extremely cheap and poor.
