This restaurant has the best coffee in the area, and the service is excellent too!

This morning I dined on banana bread and a strong almond latte whilst having my hair done. This clever cafe delivered to my hairdressers a couple of doors down. The banana bread was delicious and not too sweet, unfortunately I gobbled it down before remembering to take a photo! The coffee was lovely, I forgot to ask for strong but really enjoyed it.<br/ KD<br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ Previous Review<br/ Called into Battle Cafe this morning after dropping my other half at a hair dressing appointment nearby... otherwise I might never have known about this little block of shops in Blackburn North. A cute little cafe that was light and bright with whites, light wood and greenery, a winning formula in cafe decor. I grabbed a take away latte and couldn’t walk away from the rhubarb and pistachio danish. Coffee was served strong and made with care with milk art despite the fact that a lid was placed above it. I didn’t get to see the cafe menu but there were signs up advertising new menu coming soon so good to see a place that updates its offerings on a regular basis. <br/ <br/ Service was friendly and relaxed and although I was only in Battle for a short time I thought it had a great feel.

Finally Blackburn!! Great tasting food AND amazing coffee and conveniently at my doorstep : Had brekky here this morning, avocado with a sous vide egg on the side... deeeeeelicious!! They even have hot chilli relish haha so very happy!! The staff are friendly and service is great too! I would definitely recommend checking out Battle Cafe!

Small selection of menu yet the coffee and muffin were great. A good place to have a coffee break. Friendly service.
