The food was decent but expensive. However, with burgers at other places now costing around $15, this was to be expected. I have a unique allergy, and the woman with a tattoo on her arm and headband was extremely understanding and made sure my meal was free of any allergens. The male boss, on the other hand, was rude to his two employees. He called them names and was aggressive towards them. At one point, the woman had to intervene and tell him not to serve me any food that I couldn't have. My issue is not with the food, but with the management. I would not recommend this restaurant unless you want to support workplace bullying.
We discovered Classic Charlie Burger in the food court of Melbourne Emporium. The establishment has a very upscale and clean appearance, standing out among the other booths in the food court. There is ample seating available. We ordered the Classic Charlie Burger which came with Angus beef patty, Swiss cheese, gherkins, butter, lettuce, fresh tomato, streaky bacon, beetroot relish, American mustard, aioli, and Charlie's special tomato sauce for $13.90, as well as the Parmesan Truffle fries for $4.90. The beef patty and bacon were delicious and cooked to perfection. The beef patty was juicy and well-seasoned. We enjoyed the burger, although we felt that it was on the smaller side compared to other high-end burger places charging the same price. The fries were fantastic - hot, crispy, and well-seasoned, but slightly greasy and lacking in truffle flavor. Overall, we liked the beef patty but found the prices to be a bit expensive. The service was rated 3.0, taste 2.5, price 2.0, and speed 3.0.
It was a challenge to find something that my 8-year-old would enjoy. However, we stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to order a Southern Belle Chicken Burger for myself and some sweet potato fries for him. The burger had a nice kick to it, spicier than expected, and the chicken was slightly overcooked but still enjoyable. The sweet potato fries were delicious.
Both had the classic cheeseburger and shared some sweet potato chips. Burger was nice but nothing more, chips however were really nice. I think there are better places to get a burger.
