We ordered two brunch meals: The Wharfman and Benny the Cowboy, along with two smoothies - Monkey Business and Sunset Frappe. The Wharfman consisted of a generous breakfast platter with a sourdough bacon butty, two poached eggs, chorizo, potato gems, bourbon BBQ sauce, and smoked salmon on the side. Everything was delicious and filling, although the salmon was a bit too salty for my taste. Benny the Cowboy was another substantial breakfast dish with two poached eggs, BBQ brisket, spiced corn, chipotle hollandaise on toasted English muffins, tater tots, and smoked salmon on the side. This was my favorite of the two dishes, as everything was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The Monkey Business smoothie, made with cocoa powder, banana, peanut butter, and almond milk, tasted mostly of peanut butter and didn't quite hit the mark for me. On the other hand, the Sunset Frappe, a raspberry, apple, and mango smoothie, was delicious and reminded me of drinking mango pulp. Overall, the restaurant has a trendy vibe and a lovely ambiance, with friendly and efficient staff. There is ample seating available both indoors and by the river. The only downside was the long wait for the food, which was disclosed to us when placing our order. Despite that, it was a great brunch experience for both of us.
The outdoor seating at this restaurant is excellent when the weather is nice, and it is not covered like some other places nearby. We tried the falafel salad and the Mexican breakfast, both of which were delicious but could have used a bit more salt and flavor. The bread was very tasty and the mushrooms were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The menu on Zomato should be updated, but overall it was a good experience.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and offers a fantastic view. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is well-prepared and beautifully presented. This was my first visit for brunch and it was excellent! Well done! Thank you.
Went in while looking for a place to have a nice brunch over at South Wharf. Nice environment, high ceiling and feels like it has been converted from a warehouse. Food was okay, not super fantastic but was above average. My stew has alot of potatoes more than bacons, bf’s three little pigs looks and taste very much like asian home cooked omelette with some ham or bacon in there. Friend’s french toast look interesting tho, pear wrapped in bread and panfried. Like little parcels. Worth to try out but I’m not sure if I would drop by again just to have their brunch. Coffee was ok. Staff was friendly.
After a refreshing walk in Docklands and along the wharf, we decided it would be nice to stop off and grab a coffee. Being right on the deck with a cool breeze passing through, we headed right in and sat down in the busy establishment. <br/ <br/ We ordered an iced latte and a cold drip coffee, along with a lemon polenta cake from the pastry cabinet. Unfortunately, we received an iced coffee instead (which was more of a blended ice cream drink), but to our surprise it had a relatively strong aromatic coffee flavour. As for the cold drip, it wasn't too bad either. <br/ <br/ The lemon polenta cake was good and perfect to have with our drinks zesty, light and crumbly. It all made for a lovely Sunday morning outing.
