Grossi Florentino Upstairs - Melbourne

Amazing food, wine and service. The staff were very informative about the food and wine menu's. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. We had a great experience and would highly recommend this restaurant

We attended Grossi Florentino for a special occasion, a 90th Birthday Celebration. We had a set menu of 5 courses : Entree (3 choices), Second Entree (2 choices) Main (4 choices) with vegetables, Dessert (4 choices) and then cheese and crackers.Entree - Oysters, Minestrone Soup or Sausages, Fennel - everyone commented on the soup and the sausages - delicious.Second Entree - Chicken strips, lightly fried with lemon emulsion or Fettuccini and Lamb Ragu.Main - Pumpkin Tortellini, Roasted Chicken, Charcoal Grilled Sirloin with Mushroom or Red Wine Sauce and Grilled John Dory with lemon.Dessert - Chocolate Bar with hazelnut caramel and milk ice cream, Tiramisu, Apple Crumble with custard and vanilla ice cream and Pear with almond cake and yoghurt ice cream.All of the food was presented beautifully and is some of the best we have ever tasted.What an amazing experience we had at Grossi Florentino. I would like to let Management know what an amazing young lady we had as our server - Amelia. Amelia was looking after quite a few tables but she always ensured that our glasses were filled and she even knew which drinks we had previously ordered so that she did not even have to ask us again what we would like to drink. I had food allergies and when Amelia brought courses she always mentioned to me what was in the dishes. I can't wait to return to Grossi Florentino.

My husband took me to this beautiful place for our anniversary. All I can say is Wow. The service? Nothing less than spectacular! The best Fine dining experience I've ever had. We chose the three courses and got dessert as an extra. All my food and dessert were beautiful and not to mention delicious. We were very impressed. The ambience was quite romantic and even though customers sat close to each other it felt very private (because of the lighting). The restroom was decorated in details and very clean. I loved the fresh towels to dry my hands. The price is expensive as it's a fine dining you get what you pay for. Definitely one of my best food experiences ever.(I didn't take any photos as I wanted to enjoy myself without my phone around)

5 Stars doesn't do this place justice... The "Grill" (downstairs at Grossi Florentino) is a "must do" if dining in MEL CBD. The service & food is an experience you need to have. A great selection across many varieties makes it almost too difficult to choose. Staff are exceptional & really know their stuff. Many other diners were going to the theatres nearby so they were very accommodating to ensure their food was served promptly, whilst others weren't forgotten either. Given how good downstairs is... I can only imagine how good upstairs might be.... "Molte Grazie"

This place is a must if you love good steak or Italian food. My son and I had a plate of several pasture fed steaks that were cooked to perfection and served with passion. The whole place and every staff member is on point and excellent wait staff are knowledgeable and smile ! Great wine list. We had a well priced Barolo with our steak but there was many others to choose from.
