10/01/20TakeawayItem: vermicelli salad fried tofuA good balance of vermicelli and greens, the crushed peanuts and mint really gave the dish a lot of texture. Fried tofu was a bit bland, maybe freshly fried tofu would have elevated the dish. I would recommend this dish, however it is on the pricey side at $19 for a serving of 1.
I enjoy coming to this restaurant for the Hanoi spring rolls and the delicious bowls of Pho. The service is friendly and quick. Just a heads up, the sate sauce that comes with the dishes is very addictive!
This place is great for some good quality Vietnamese cuisine. I got the coconut poached chicken salad it was really fresh with lots of different textures. The size was also quite large and I couldn’t finish it. Definitely a place I would revisit. The only thing I would say it is slightly on the more expensive side.
In addition to the fantastic food, the drinks at Hanoi Hannah are also top-notch. I enjoyed a refreshing fresh coconut (a rare find in Melbourne) and a flavor-packed Hanoi Mojito. It's the perfect spot to be on a hot summer evening, with delicious Vietnamese cuisine, fabulous cocktails, and a great atmosphere. Well done to the team at Hanoi Hannah for creating such an outstanding dining experience!
