This restaurant is called Liaoning Restaurant in Chinese translation. I’m from Liaoning and I am interested in trying this one. The shredded port, a typical Liaoning dish, is good. It worths 80/100 of authenticity. The price is very reasonable.
Delicious dumplings, all of the ones that we tried were nice (including the steamed pork wontons with Sichuan chilli sauce and steamed shanghai pork dumplings) but my favourites were the chicken corn dumplings and pan fried pork dumplings!
Good dumplings! While walking down Bridge Road, we noticed this restaurant was quite busy. Even though it didn't seem to have many Chinese customers, we decided to give it a try. The crispy pancake was a great starter and the prawn dumplings were tasty, although a bit small. The pork and prawn fried dumplings were delicious and the deep fried ice cream had a delicious doughy layer all around the ice cream scoop. We would definitely come back!
It was dumpling time so my partner and I ordered some dumplings and a spring onion pancake.<br/ <br/ The dumplings are really good value so we ordered some pork dumplings in Sichuan chilli sauce and some chicken and prawn dumplings in Sichuan chilli sauce. Both flavours were really tasty, and full of meat. <br/ <br/ My favourite dumplings were the chicken and prawn dumplings as I really liked the flavour and the consistency. <br/ <br/ The spring onion pancake was ok, a bit thick for me and it lacked some flavour. <br/ <br/ Overall I’d happily go back.
