Ichi Ramen Box Hill - Melbourne

The food was delicious and the service was excellent at this restaurant.

Tasty ramen. Pictured is volcano ramen, pork gyoza, karaage and lychee watermelon drink. Reasonably priced with many options. Service was good for fast paced environment.

Got takeaway ramen due to covid. <br/ I got the cha sui ramen. Very good bowl of ramen. The soup came separate which I thought was great to reduce sogginess if not eating right away.<br/ The soup was the hero of the dish. Very nice depth of flavor. Plenty of condiments came standard. The egg was cooked perfectly and had absorbed the soy marinade well. The noodles were ok but unfortunately didnt absorb enough of the soup when eating.<br/ Overall well done and satisfied.<br/

The ramen here definitely satisfies cravings, but is overall just above average. It tastes more like a “fast food” styled ramen rather than traditional Japanese ramen. Nevertheless, the flavours are there and the portions are pretty solid for the price.

We were lucky to visit box hill for a Japanese adventure. The food here is cheap and tasty! Our favourite was their dry style ramen that would make a perfect summer dish.  The mackerel side dish was also tasty and a great snack to share. Their salted egg prawns were cute and also another snack we shared.
