Kanteen - Melbourne

Love the outdoor areas. The porridge and the corn waffle were awesome but the Spanish baked egg was very oily. I wish we can get something Lemony to cut through the grease.

For food, we ordered an avocado pide with an added egg and the gnocchi special. Although there was a small issue with the egg initially, it was quickly fixed without any hassle. The pide was delicious, with a refreshing mix of cottage cheese and avocado. The gnocchi was the highlight of the meal, and I was envious of my wife's choice. Luckily, her portion was generous, so I got to enjoy it too. For dessert, we shared a chocolate brownie and vanilla slice, while our child had some puree. The vanilla slice was possibly the best we've ever had, and the brownie was also delicious. This was our second visit to the restaurant, and it has now become a regular spot for us. We highly recommend Canteen for its family-friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and great service. It's the perfect place to dine, especially when the weather is nice enough to sit outside. Many customers were enjoying their meals with their dogs today. You can't go wrong with Canteen.

I hadn't been to this restaurant in a few years, but decided to stop by early last Sunday morning. To my surprise, the place was already packed at 9am! Since I was in a hurry, I placed my order right away. I opted for the special, Smashed Avo with asparagus, eggs, and dukkah. The dish arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious! The service was quick and friendly, and my coffee was good as well, arriving in no time. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again in the future!

Everything is so so beautiful view staff food especially on a sunny day outside first time here but will come back again and again came with my puppy and she was so calm and absolutely loved it.

Great little spot by the water to stop at on a bike ride or walk. I had the shakshuka eggs (a special) and added pulled pork. It was full of flavour and to be honest, didn't even need the side of pork, my eyes were just bigger than my belly! My boyfriend said his chicken pepper pide was pretty good. Lastly, my coffee was really nice, and the service was good too! I'd recommend it.
