The minimalistic and simple concepts are subtle, but, strongly entwined through the restaurant and its food. Their menu was selectively curated to serve a finite number of dishes, and to do them extremely well.
The combo satisfies if you like both chef’s selected sashimi and sushi. And the beef tataki turns out to be my favorite for dinner tonight!
Will come back for:<br/ Tempura Sashimi Set<br/ <br/ What a local gem this place is. Exceptional service, where the waiters clearly knows their menu, and are efficient and polite. We had both the sushi and tempura sets and both were fresh, well presented and above all delicious and well balanced. The tempura set was particularly generous and the better of the two but they were both great. Will definitely be back to try the other dishes.
Really fresh, well prepared Japanese food that is reasonably priced (well, for Japanese food anyway). <br/ <br/ Really enjoyed the signature roll, beef tataki and salmon nigiri (scorched). The chicken karaage was also well cooked and tasty.
Good, solid Japanese food with excellent service. The beef Tataki and gyozas were especially good (4.5/5). The hot main dishes (beef niku), chicken Kara age and chicken teryaki were ok (3.5/5).
