Each time I eat there I come away happy. The last dish I had there was eggs benedict. Thick cuts of ham off the bone! Drool. Freshly made sauce. Tick!Great coffee. That's a must in that part of the world.
The decor and vibe suggest a good quality feed, but be prepared to be disappointed. I don't know if this is a new cafe or has recently been bought-out but this cafe does not fit its TripAdvisor rating. This would be a perfectly fine servo restaurant or cheap diner except it's way to expensive, and food the coffee is ****. Way over priced for what you get which is bad quality food most of it was deep fried and dry no flavour, stale store bought bread and did i just mention the coffee is ****! Better coffee at a McDonalds.Good points were lovely staff.Looking at the reviews they all seem to be recent and close together so hopefully in the future people don't make the same mistakes i did and have any sort of expectations.
I downloaded trip advisor just to leave this review. The service was really lovely but the food was so bad. Over cooked steak, after being asked "how would you like it?". Hash and bacon meal without any flavour and very average coffee. I wish I went somewhere else. Don't eat here.
Family get together and needed to find a place with decent meals that was convenient to Preston. Little Henri filled the bill. Service was painfully slow however and while the meals were ok, the choices were not great. Overall, pleasant enough but nothing to write home about.
On a recent stay nearby, we actually visited Little Henri twice! Both times were fantastic. Menu was not huge but great choices!
