Maya Tequila Bar & Grill - Melbourne

My friend and I went to this restaurant using a Groupon offer for unlimited tacos. The service was a bit slow at times but the staff was friendly and pleasant. The food was decent, the flavors were not the best but we only tried the tacos so other options on the menu might be better. We may give it another try in the future.

Eight of us had a Groupon voucher that entitled us to three margaritas each at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we were seated at the front of the restaurant at a large table that was too big for our group, making it somewhat uncomfortable with the stools and seats provided. If you decide to dine here (like we did), make sure to request a table at the back as it appeared to be much more pleasant. Despite the seating issue, the margaritas were delicious and the food was also enjoyable. However, we felt that the service could have been improved as we suspect being seated at the front may have caused some oversight from the staff.

My daughter purchased a groupon deal for four people that included "all you can eat" with a drink. She ended up inviting an additional person, making it a family outing. We all had a great time, indulged a bit too much, and tried some delicious cocktails. I highly recommend them. The restaurant's ambiance is nice, with a small facade that extends far back. One waitress in particular was extremely efficient, running around and handling everything with ease. We were fortunate to arrive early, as the food delivery slowed down significantly once the restaurant got busier. It seemed like the delays were due to issues in the kitchen, rather than any intentional effort to limit our consumption.

Mid week Mexican, 4 of us with voucher and we were unsure how it would go. We arrived and were seated 20 mins early, took the staff's advice on how to order and the first nibbles arrived in 5 minutes. Over the next hour and a half lots of different dishes arrived in a casual and shared manner. All were explained and plenty of premium ingredients in the meat/fish dishes. Different sauces and accompaniments to liven everything up for the spice lover. Way too much food but still offered the opportunity to take out left overs and a dessert to finish. Bought 2 extra cokes and a beer and that totalled a very reasonable $12.Service was delightful with lots of interaction. Great atmosphere. Well done.

We had previously dined at this restaurant and the meals were absolutely delicious.When we saw a $39 all you can eat groupon offer including desert and two glasses of Sangria we jumped at the offer. Menu was quite different from the last time we visited.I found the meals this time quite bland this time and lacking that wow factor of mexican flavours. We ordered meals such as corn chips and guacomole, scallop cerviche, lamb ribs, tacos and burritos.For desert we shared leche de flan and affogato ice cream.Positives with an all you can order of the menu meant you didnt leave hungry. For $39 we had around $94 worth of food if priced individually.
