MoVida Aqui - Melbourne

Fabulous, my 2nd time at Movida Aqui and it was excellent yet again.

I was quite underwhelmed by the food at Movida Aqui. The calamari sandwich and and anchovy tapas were delicious with interesting contrasting flavours but the other dishes were less so. The kingfish with beets was bland and the wet rice with mussels seemed tired and uninspired.

Dinner was great! Some dishes were very rich (the paellas beef cheek with cauliflower mash), so can't have too much of it. The highlight for the night would be the pork cutlet and the creme caramel. Highly recommended.

This was our first visit to a Spanish restaurant. Andrew, our waiter, assisted us in our menu selection and wines. His outstanding professionalism made our evening a memorable occasion resulting in lovely food and accompanying wines. Thank you Andrew and Movida Aqui.
