Nando's - Melbourne

Their whole chiken...is out of world. I wish they had frenchise in states also.. too good

This was my first experience at this fast chicken establishment that is so prevalent in Australia.

As a frequent diner, I have to say the food was cooked to perfection and the service top class. This is clearly Australia's best Nandos.

Got there ordered my one person meal of 4 piece chicken thigh pieces and coke. Asked the bored looking guy for the mild sauce. He said its on the rack, and pointed at the medium. I said - No i would like the mild one. He said they don't do it. I pointed out that yes they do. He said well you can't have one. We use the medium one as mild at this store. I said that this was the most horrid Nando's I'd been in. He said that was because I was in Australia. I said that I didn't agree, but we would leave it at that!I the got my chicken thigh. The 4 piece chicken thigh, was just one thigh, chopped in to 4. So i paid $16 for a chicken thigh, a bit of cold slaw and a bottle of coke. I normally love Nando's but this one was vile. Tables were all sticky as well. Yak. Won't be returning.

This restaurant is very much what you expect of Nandos. The service was reasonable and would go again.
