Old Salt Fish & Chips - Melbourne

While not as upscale or trendy as some other dining spots, this restaurant doesn't need to be. They simply serve delicious, traditional fish and chips. Thanks for a great meal!

I have been going to Old Salt Burger for roughly 7 years now and ordering the Old Salt Burger without onion or pineapple. I have eaten a lot of burgers from a lot of different places, but this burger is objectively my favourite. It is not on any of the delivery apps, surrounded by other 'fancier ' fish and chip and burger shops and doesn 't even have it 's own website.Nevertheless, this humble fish and chip shop produces without fail, the same tried and true, deliciousness ever squeezed between 2 sesame seed buns.

This restaurant serves great local fish and chips with good quality fresh fish. Even my friend, who usually prefers burgers, thinks the burgers here are excellent. There are a couple of tables available both inside and outside if you prefer to dine in. They also offer salads. The service is quick and friendly. This has become my favorite takeout spot in Port.

An awesome alternative to the other popular F C joints in the area. Equally tasty, properly battered, well fried and nicely staffed. Fairly priced and good sized too.

Been very satisfied with the food here. Potato cakes, battered flake, garden salad, chips, dim sims all good for a reasonable price. The burger with the lot was one of the best fish and chip shop burgers I've ever had. Service is fine although some of the cooks look very grumpy haha. I would recommend!
