Contribuisci feedback4.5/5<br/ It's soo good to be able to go out again. I went to Piccolo Grand and had some lunch. The service was excellent, friendly chatty and very welcoming.<br/ <br/ Initially the garlic bread was some of the best I've ever eaten. It was buttery and full of garlic. Just perfect 5/5.<br/ <br/ The mushroom arancini balls were delicious, and I could have just eaten entrees and been satisfied.<br/ <br/ But I also ordered a pizza special which was very good too, but the base was hard to cut and it needed some spice or something to absorb all the tomato paste.<br/ <br/ Friends had a Chicken Parma which was smashed lol, and a steak which also disappeared within seconds so the consensus was pretty high. <br/ <br/ Drink wise I had a Pirate Life beer as my preferred local tap beer wasn't available and this sour beer was really good too. <br/ <br/ I tried a European tap beer which was tasty too but I can't remember its name. <br/ <br/ Overall this was a solid experience.
The place have a relaxed vibe to it with plenty of seats inside and outside. The pizza is great and their famous lasagna is also good but not mind blowing kind of good. The pizza is thin whilst the lasagna is moist and light. The restaurant's menu is different to the bar menu
One word SENSATIONAL!!!!!The pizzas are the best part about this young vibrant bar.Tucked away behind the Grand Hotel, the decor is funky, the staff are polite and the food is beyond fantastic. We’ll be back
Nice welcoming space mainly pizza and some other tasty dishes. The antipasto and bread is worth the trip alone. The lasagne was excellent. Good wine list and Italian digestive selection. Great service, Kirsty was outstanding. Definitely will be back.
We had a fabulous time at the Grand. Mel, the waitress and Liam, the manager were very attentive with all our requests. Mel and the other waitress were very prompt in attending to us, and helped us ensure we were on track with our schedule. The tables were set up nicely, and we managed to take many nice pictures. Our guests were all blown away with the quality and taste of the dishes, we were so pleased with that. Safe to say that our guests had a food coma, and everyone had a really good time. When we left, we realised that we left our wedding favor at the restaurant. Mel went that extra mile to help us search for it, only to have found it in the rubbish bin. All in all, this is an underrated local gem in our neighbourhood. So glad that our guests are now wanting to try your other dishes like pizzas. This is definitely a place I would recommend for events, and you will be in safe hands, with Kirsty the events manager helping you. Thank you again Kirsty for helping us, planning a wedding dinner through the uncertain times, and making it an enjoyable and memorable occasion for us :
