Pinocchio's Pizza - Melbourne

Had a great few nights at the Pinocchio restaurant. Great pizza Napoletana style of new cook and warm welcome. Loves the new drink special.

After we have eaten pasta at night before we have on meat main dishes chicken marsala with roasted crolipfer potatoes and broccolini and Porterhouse steak with pepper sauce, roasted clippers, roasted cherry tomatoes and asparagus. Both were excellent the chicken Marasala was probably the best we had. The steak was well cooked to the desired medium. Service was friendly and efficient. Only (very) slightly negative comment was that it took about 45 minutes until our food arrived, although the restaurant was not so busy. But the food was definitely worth waiting. Very recommended. Fair prices and they are BYO if you want this at $10 bottle corkage

Have eaten here on Friday night. Friendly and attentive staff. Wine on the glass a little over price. Had spaghetti marinara and penne. Both generous help. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but perhaps because of its location is a little overpriced for what just pasta dishes. However, the employees are very nice.

Perhaps the worst pizza I've ever eaten..I lived in South Yarra for many years.. Pinocchios was an institution. Always good quality, delicious pizzas. the place to go. I moved a few years ago and I'm in the area tonight. Pays $28 for an unpleasant salty, pathetic excuse for a moving pizza with minimal toppings..

Went to Pinocchios for dinner about 2wks ago, my friend and I ordered the spaghetti and salads, we almost walked out as it took over 40minutes to get the basic meal, but just as we were about to leave the food came out and I tell you what, thats the only thing that saved this place from a bad review, the food was amazing! their service is incredibly slow but its worth the wait. I'm actually going to go there again for dinner this coming Sunday night the food was that good. Lets hope their service has improved since then. I recommend this place if you want really yummy food for dinner. Not sure I'd really recommend taking kids here it looks the kind of place more suited to non families, yes I'm sure they cater to them but its a nice quiet dining experience so leave the kids at home.
