Rare Steakhouse - Melbourne

Nice menu with a wide variety of meat, including grass fed, non gmo choices. Excellent meat, friendly and efficient staff, good wine selection

We visited this venue last night and here is what I thought.... <br/ <br/ Cons: Red Wine Jus was bland and lacked flavor <br/ <br/ Pros: Meat cooked to perfection, mash was smooth, wine was delicious!!!, staff were friendly, atmosphere was inviting, olives were delicious and of a great portion, but the BEST PART was our **** Mary oysters. Oh, My, God they were amazing!!!!

Good steak and decent wine list. Has been a long standing go to. Reasonable value; good personable service. Decor could do with an update upstairs.

Best restaurant in Melbourne! … ordered a lamb cutlet for Entrée and two medium and medium rare porterhouse steaks … the delivery was exceptional and the staff was professionally performed! … this was one of the best experiences my partner and I had in years!

I went there for the steak and a work meeting... it delivered flawless, quality produce grilled perfectly... sides an excellent match. Decent wine list, unobtrusive but attentive service. Nuff said.
