We didn't have a reservation and the restaurant was full, so we decided to have a drink at the rooftop bar across the street. After a while, a table became available at San Telmo and we were seated. Our waiter, Raphael, was very welcoming and explained the menu to us, providing great recommendations. The food was top-notch and the service was impeccable. Each dish we ordered was flavorful and unique. The staff was professional and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant and wish there was a San Telmo in Sydney. Melbourne's food scene is truly impressive!
I want to write a review that is so positive that it may not be taken seriously, but I truly cannot recommend this restaurant enough. It was the best meal I have had in at least 2 years, and I dine out frequently. I would eat anything on the menu, as the meats are exceptional. Even if they charged twice as much, I would still return. Bravo to this restaurant.
The very best food is served here with the very best service from the staff. We will definitely go again and also highly recommend it to our friends and relatives.
We were lucky enough to have been recommended San Telmo. It's a hidden gem! We loved every meal we ordered. It was so hard to choose my favourite but I could not get enough of the empanadas!!
Brilliant food, had the Ojo De Bife, best steak I've ever had. Try the burnt carrots, they're delightful, perfect to go on the side of the steak. Also made a special request when I made my booking to serve a chocolate tart with a candle on it for my boyfriend's birthday and they did exactly that! The chocolate tart was delicious and great to know they're very aware of your special requests. Service was top notch! Shoutout to Flint for being so accommodating.
