Sushi Hub provides a variety of delicious and visually appealing sushi sets and platters, along with a selection of salads. While the Japanese food may not be the most intricate, it is incredibly convenient, especially for those on the move. The sushi and sashimi are always fresh and flavorful, never failing to impress.
This is the only franchise sushi restaurant in Melbourne that I would visit. The sushi is incredibly fresh and offers great value. The Hawthorn location is conveniently situated next to the train station.
My partner was shocked when I returned to the car with a bag of food from Sushi Hub, right after lunch. Despite that, I didn't order too much (I think). As I drove home, I couldn't wait to dig into my Fresh Salmon Sandwich. It was tasty with tobiko on the sides and a drizzle of mayo on top, but there was a bit too much rice compared to the thin slices of salmon and tamago egg. Once I got home, I indulged in my Deluxe Sashimi and Abalone Salad. The abalone was cooked perfectly, not too chewy, and the sashimi was fresh. It was a great way to end what had started as a disappointing New Year's afternoon.
I ordered 2 avocado sushi rolls. Both rolls were nice and thick with a good amount of filling- avocado and cucumber. Service was quick, prices on par.
