Tassal Salmon Shop - Melbourne

Better restaurants for fish can be found elsewhere. But a good place to shop for salmon to bring home and do your own cooking

I live just 2 minutes away from the Tassal salmon shop and would visit there occasionally for a delicious brunch and coffee. The staff was very friendly and there was a wide variety of salmon available at the shop. Unfortunately, I heard that the shop is currently being leased and I am not sure if it will reopen in the future.

We are saddened to hear that they have closed! We drove from Brighton, ate breakfast and I did my shopping at thelittle deli. Service was always excellent. I bought lots of fresh salmon fillets, smoked salmon, salmon pies and cans for lunch at work. Always excellent products. Thank you.

The Tassal Shop was a real plus for Kew residents. The cafe srved up very pleasant dishes at decent prices andthe range of salmon products from the shop itself was always excellent. But, alas, the shop closed last month. Not sure why this happened but Tassal - please find another tenant for your store!

A little eatery next to the Tassel shop for a quick lunch or early dinner. I had a grilled salmon (of course) and it was cooked to perfection. Service was so so and you cant expect too much.
